Office Manager / Front Desk

Jemi has been an integral part of our team since 2011. She is usually the first person a patient speaks to when calling the office.  Jemi is enthusiastic and dedicated to our services. She is completely committed to providing the best possible experience for our patients, from the moment they walk into our office.  She has both managerial skills and dental knowledge to help patients to the fullest potential by serving their needs. In addition to that, she has an in-depth knowledge of the practice including billing, collections, insurance claims, and numerous other administrative tasks. Being a native of India, she loves the hot summer weather, hiking, and running.  She also enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her two children and her rescue dog, Charlie.

Dawn

Treatment Plan Coordinator / Front Desk

Dawn is our wonderful Treatment Plan Coordinator and has extensive years of experience in comprehensive, restorative, and administrative dentistry. Dawn is driven to ensure that all of our patients have a seamless visit. She will help you by gathering information, scheduling, and offering guidance and support through your entire treatment plan as needed. She will also help to maximize your dental insurance benefits, will offer different options on financing, and will answer all of your questions for a better upstanding of your dental care. Dawn understands that not everyone loves to go to the dentist and wants to make sure that every patient visiting our office feels comfortable and well taken care of. When she is not in the office, she enjoys entertaining friends and family, traveling, and spending lots of quality time with her granddaughter.

Nancy

Hygienist

Nancy offers over 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. She is a 2002 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD). While there, she was a member of the Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society. In 2003, Nancy completed her residency at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UMSOD, where she served as Chief Resident. Since graduation, Nancy has worked in the private practice setting, concentrating primarily on periodontal treatment. She is deeply committed to helping patients maintain their oral health while underscoring the connection between oral health and overall health. Nancy has ben married to her husband Al for over thirty years. They have a son and a daughter, both of whom are attorneys. They also have an adorable pup, who helps fill their empty nest! Nancy is an avid traveler who is always planning her next adventure.

Coryia

Dental Assistant

Coryia has been a dental assistant for 5 years and you will often find her filling two positions in our office. She is both a dental assistant and a front desk assistant. Her dedication to making our patients feel well cared for shows her commitment to providing excellent care. Coryia shows up each day with a smile on her face, ready to help our patients and our team, in any way that she can. Her hobbies are cooking, interior design, traveling, and painting, but her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her two young children. Her passion for dentistry & compassion for our patients helps her to accomplish her personal daily goal of changing lives, one smile at a time.

Jamie

Dental Assistant

Jamie has been a dental assistant for 11 years, her parents both worked and met in the dental field, so you can say its in her blood! She has a natural sense to care and comfort others. Her interests include hiking, painting, live music, and time with family and friends. She grew up in Forks MD and attended John Carroll High School. She currently lives on the water in middle river where She catches the most beautiful sunsets while fishing or just relaxing for the evening. She strives to always be the best version of herself, both personally and professionally, while enjoying life and always having fun!

Evelyn

Dental Assistant

Evelyn has been a dental assistant since 2018. She completed her certifications through the dental assistant program at CCBC in Dundalk. She finds dentistry to be exciting and challenging in many different ways, it is what keeps her striving to learn more every single day. She is very excited to have become a part of Dr. Whitecar's team, and growing with us as a family! When she is not at work, you will find her enjoying time with friends and family by playing sports or going on mini getaways.
